Don’t Breathe is probably a great horror film in any language.
Many classic horror films have been given unofficial remakes outside the United States over the years, including a Turkish take on The Exorcist, an Indonesian Friday the 13th and a Bollywood version of A Nightmare on Elm Street featuring a mullet-haired Freddy!
The latest horror movie to get an unofficial knockoff is Fede Alvarez’s Don’t Breathe, which director Raj Rajbanshi has turned into this year’s Nepali film, Sherbahadur.
In the film, starring Sunil Thapa as “The Blind Man”…
“Three people rob the houses of rich people when the owners are out of town. They then find out about Sherbahadur , a rich ex-army man and plan to rob his house.”
The trailer, which you can check out below, was recently tweeted to Fede Alvarez himself, who quote-tweeted it with the words, “That actually looks badass.”
Sherbahadur was released in Nepal earlier this month.
