Woman 'drowning in her own poo and struggling to breathe' to have private treatment after kind strangers raise £10000 - The Sun
KIND strangers have helped raise more than £10,000 to help a woman "drowning in her own poo" get specialist treatment.
Kelly Yeoman's organs are barely noticeable in an X-ray as her chest cavity fills with faeces, leaving her struggling to breathe.
Kelly, 34, was admitted to Bristol's St Michael's Hospital in August to check for the womb condition endometriosis.
But a "slip of the scalpel" during the minor procedure nicked her bowel and left her body filling with poo, she claims.
Her family and friends have been desperately fundraising for her to receive private treatment for her condition, saying their "happy, strong and determined" friend is barely recognisable.
Kelly was initially told she had a skin infection following the exploratory operation on her womb, according to the BBC.
"After two weeks it exploded, I went to the doctors and they thought it was sepsis and I was rushed into St Michael's," she said.
"They CT scanned me which showed my bowel was inflamed and I was severely constipated."
The faecal compaction has caused Kelly's lungs and diaphragm to become restricted.
Kelly has spent the last 11 weeks in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, vomiting her own poo while she desperately waits for private treatment.

Posting the image of her X-ray on Facebook earlier this month, she wrote: "For those who don't quite understand the extent of my condition, this is my X-ray, the whole thing is a picture of faecal loading can't even see my organs.
"And yes it's all in my chest too, my diaphragm and lungs are so high up I can barely breathe."
Worried friends say her bowel could rupture at any moment.

Writing on a GoFundMe page set up to fund Kelly's treatment, friend Kate Rankin said: "Due to a slip of the scalpel, during a minor surgical procedure, Kelly Yeoman’s bowel was knocked, leaving her with a collection of infection which required two further surgeries to correct.
"As a result, her bowel is now unable to function.
"She is now horrifically faecally impacted, she is regularly vomiting a foul mixture of her last meal and her own excrement, and she is struggling to breathe.
"She is allergic to many things including latex and oral antibiotics and has a number of health issues, all of which need to be carefully considered.
"Nothing seems to be working and we are watching her go gradually downhill – she is almost unrecognisable as our happy, strong and determined friend.
"Every day she seems to fade further away and we are all beginning to fear the worst."
A RARE CONDITION THAT CAN PROVE DEADLY
FAECAL impaction is when you get so bunged up you can't have a number two.
It can be really severe, causing serious illness or even death if it's not treated.
It's caused by a number of things, including constipation that's not treated.
If a person take laxatives too often it can also result in the condition, because your body will become less used to knowing when the "time to go is", and will stop responding to the urge.
Other drugs, including opioid painkillers can slow digestion making it more likely for stools to build up in your colon.
And not getting enough exercise can also prove a risk factor.
Symptoms include:
- watery dirrhoea
- nausea and vomiting
- back or stomach pain
- bloating
- dehydration
- trouble breathing
- fever
Her friends began the crowdfunding campaign to raise enough money to get her specialist treatment at St Mark's Hospital in London, which is a specialist bowel centre.
They have now raised enough money for Kelly's treatment but, sadly, they know she won't be home for Christmas.
"She won’t be laughing with her friends as she piles up presents under the tree and swears at tangled fairy lights," Kate added.
"She won’t be singing carols or dancing the night away with a glass of bubbly in her hand.
"She won’t be sprawling on the sofa with a tin of Celebrations and another James Bond movie on the TV.
"Her painful and bloated stomach won’t be full of turkey, and won’t get better after a nice snooze and a walk around the block."

Soal Dugaan Pencemaran Nama Baik TNI, Nikita Mirzani Ogah ... - SuratKabar.ID
SURATKABAR.ID – Oktober lalu, pengusaha Sam Aliano melaporkan aktris Nikita Mirzani ke Komisi Penyiaran Indonesia (KPI) menyusul kicauan di akun Twitter yang mencemarkan nama baik Panglima TNI, Jenderal Gatot Nurmantyo. Akun Twitter tersebut diduga milik Niki. Tak terima, Nikita Mirzani lantas balik melaporkan sejumlah pihak atas tuduhan telah melakukan fitnah akun Twitter yang mengatasnamakan dirinya tersebut.
Mengutip reportase Kumparan.com, Rabu (29/11/2017), karena tak bisa menerima tindakan Sam yang merupakan ketua Asosiasi Pengusaha Indonesia Muda (APMI) itu, Nikita akhirnya melaporkan balik Sam Aliano ke Polda Metro Jaya atas dasar pelanggaran UU ITE, sebab dianggap telah menyebarkan berita bohong (hoax).
Kemudian beberapa hari yang lalu, Sam secara tiba-tiba sempat mengadakan konferensi pers yang bertujuan untuk mengajak Niki berdamai serta tidak melanjutkan permasalahan ini ke ranah hukum. Ia memberikan tenggat waktu kepada bintang film ‘Jakarta Undercover’ itu untuk menanggapi permintaan damainya tersebut.
Hingga berita ini dimuat, aktris yang berumur 31 tahun tersebut merasa bahwa pihak Sam sama sekali tak pernah menghubungi dirinya untuk mengajak damai. Oleh sebab itu, ia pun dengan tegas menolak permintaan pria tersebut, dan akan tetap melanjutkan kasus ini ke pengadilan.

“Lucu aja sih, dia minta perdamaian, tapi ngasih tenggat waktu 5 sampai 6 hari. Jadi, menurut Niki enggaklah, enggak usah damai-damai segala. Udah dimalu-maluin juga, ngapain coba dateng-dateng ke KPI segala,” ungkap Niki dalam konferesi pers di kawasan Gunawarman, Jakarta Selatan, Senin (16/10/2017) lalu.
“Lagipula, info itu kita dapat dari media. Dia melakukan preskon (press conference), dia minta damai kepada Nikita Mirzani, dan minta supaya laporan itu dicabut,” timpal Aulia Fahmi, kuasa hukum Nikita, pada kesempatan yang sama.
Mengakibatkan Banyak Kerugian
Ibu dua orang anak tersebut mengaku sempat malas karena harus kembali berurusan dengan pihak kepolisian. Namun karena kasus ini sudah banyak merugikan dirinya, Nikita bersikeras untuk menyelesaikan kasus ini melalui jalur hukum.
“Sebetulnya malas, tapi kalau dibilang nama baik ya sebenarnya nama Niki enggak baik-baik banget, cuma Niki kan kerja, cari uang buat anak. Kalau diginiin orang terus, kan gimana ya… Kan kerjaan Niki terbatas, Niki ngalamin kerugian karena kasus ini, gitu,” jelas mantan istri Sajad Ukra tersebut panjang lebar.
Selain menawarkan permintaan damai, Sam juga memberikan penawaran ganti rugi untuk Niki yang telah kehilangan beberapa pekerjaannya akibat kasus ini. Namun hingga kini, Niki mengaku belum tertarik dengan tawaran tersebut.

“Kan dia bilang mau ganti rugi. Enggak bilang sih besarannya berapa. Dia bilang cuma mau ganti rugi aja. Nanti dilihatlah semana. Sekarang kita konsen aja dulu ke masalah hukumnya ini. Tapi kalau emang mau ganti ruginya miliaran…oke juga tuh, hahaha,” pungkas Nikita sambil tertawa.

WHILE DYNAMIC stretching is all the rage nowadays, static stretches - you know, the ones in which you hold a position for 15 seconds or longer - still have a major role to play in any workout programme.
Doing static stretches at the end of your routine or on rest days will improve range of motion, especially when you hold each stretch for at least 30 seconds.
It can also be very relaxing and doesn't require a lot of time. Really, all it takes is a few minutes of focus on the muscles you have worked, or on chronically tight areas, and you could reap the benefits.
Improved flexibility, injury and pain prevention, and improved performance should be temptation enough to get you stretching.
STRETCHING DON'TS
* Don't use static stretches on the muscles you're about to train. Research shows it can weaken your muscles for lifting. Also, static stretching prior to activity may cause injuries, and does not prevent them. Although there are some exceptions for very tight muscles, you should perform static stretching after exercise.
* Don't hold your breath while stretching. This will cause your muscles to tense. Instead, you need to relax and breathe deeply - try exhaling slower and longer than you inhale.
* Don't stretch in a rapid motion. Pushing yourself into position quickly and then "bouncing" back is dangerous.
* Don't force any stretch. Pain does not equal gain and stretching too far could tear a muscle. Instead, use your stretch routine to increase the range of motion over time.
* Don't stretch injured muscles unless prescribed by a professional. Even if it feels good, you could be making the damage worse.

Ibu dua anak itu mengaku ada sekitar 35 persen foto seksi dalam 'The Naked Nikita'. Jika dianggap foto itu dapat menarik pembeli, ia pun tak menyerahkan semua hal tersebut kepada masyarakat Indonesia.
Sementara itu, Nikita juga mengaku sengaja menjual bukunya murah. Hal itu dilakukannya agar orang dapat membeli dan membaca kisahnya.
"Harganya Rp 95 ribu. Kalau dibilang murah sih nggak, itu harga standar buku memang segitu," tutur bintang film 'Comic 8' tersebut.
"Niki dari awal mau jual buku memang nggak mau yang mahal, pengen buku itu dibaca sama anak-anak muda, biar anak muda tahu untuk jadi yang lo mau itu bukan hanya sekadar duduk tapi lo harus kerja," pungkas Nikita Mirzani.

Selain dua mantan suaminya, Nikita Mirzani juga akan buka-bukaan soal siapa saja mereka yang pernah berpacaran dengannya.
"Terus soal pacar-pacar, ditipu berapa kali sama lelaki, terus soal kehidupan, masa kecil, itu aja sih," ungkap Nikita Mirzani.
Korban KDRT
Nikita Mirzani mengaku mendapat perlakuan kasar dari suaminya, Sajad Ukrta.
Selain pemukulan, Nikita yang kala itu tengah hamil anak keduanya (anak pertama dari Sajad), Azka Raqilla Ukra, juga mengaku ditendang dan dibenturkan ke benda tumpul, hingga mengalami luka di bagian pelipis.

Saat menghadiri sidang gugatan cerainya yang kesekian kali, Nikita baru mengumbar salah satu pemicu mengapa sang suami bisa naik pitam.
Menurut Nikita, salah satu pemicunya adalah foto-foto vulgarnya yang banyak tersebar di dunia maya.
Seperti diketahui, jauh sebelum Nikita dinikahi oleh Sajad pada Oktober 2013 silam, Niki kedapatan beberapa kali berpose seksi hingga bugil untuk kebutuhan foto.
Rupanya, foto-foto itulah yang membuat Sajad marah.
"Dia katanya cemburu, lihat masa lalu Niki di internet, foto. Namanya juga foto-foto. Padahal sebelum nikah juga dia sudah tahu soal foto-foto Niki.
Sekarang foto-foto itu yang dijadiin alasan. Itu mah bisa-bisaan dia saja kali," kata Nikita seperti dikutip dari Tabloidnova.com.

Sementara itu, tudingan-tudingan Nikita atas kekerasan yang dilakukan Sajad, langsung dipatahkan oleh kuasa hukum Sajad.
Mereka menuntut bukti jika benar Nikita mendapatkan perlakuan kasar.

But Stanley Johnson was allowed to take part for the first time on Sunday night - and relished the opportunity to get stuck in to the explosive first live trial.
The former politician, 77, was hailed a 'legend' by viewers after gobbling a witchetty grub with gusto and passing a pig's testicle to Iain Lee using his mouth.

He was up against Georgia Toffolo in the first round of the boys versus girls live task - which saw the pair tasked with eating a live grub.
Popping the larvae into his mouth without a moment's hesitation, Stanley beamed as he wiped the slime from his chin.
Licking his lips, he declared: 'These are b****y nice. Delicious!'
Viewers flocked to Twitter to congratulate the father of Boris Johnson on his dedication to the challenge.

'Well done Stanley old bean, it looked like you sure did find those Witchetty grubs rather delicious!' one wrote.
'Stanley "They are delicious" Oh my God!! I love him Stanley's 1st trial and he nailed it woho!!!' another praised.
And his dedication paid off as he trumped Georgia by eating his grub first and winning a point for the boys.
In the final task, the boys team - made up of Iain Lee, Amir Khan and Stanley - had to pass pigs' testicles from the bowl on one end to the other using only their mouths.

But out of all the tasks, which involved drinking blended camel anus and penis and standing in goldfish bowls filled with crickets - the boys won.

They came out on top in four of the five tasks - meaning they will get a crucial head start in tomorrow's all-day race.
The race sees Dennis Wise and Jamie Lomas from the boys and Rebekah Vardy and Shappi Khorsandi from the girls getting stranded in the jungle and battling to make it back to camp first.
Meanwhile, earlier in the show Rebekah Vardy and Jamie Lomas struggled to keep their calm as they were covered in 50,000 cockroaches, 25,000 crickets and 20 kilos of mealworms.
The trial, aptly named 'The Hole' was the location for the next grisly BushTucker trial featuring Rebekah and Jamie.

The pairing were seen sealed in a tight, dark box in the middle of the Australian jungle as all hell was unleashed on them.
Initially Rebekah seemed to remain calm as she closed her eyes while a surge of creepy crawlies dropped on her.
Jamie looked to be having a tough time as he yelled out: 'They proper stink!'
A poker faced Rebekah told him: 'Don't breathe, don't smell', while continuing to spit out insects out of her mouth.

They endured a series of other horrors through the other chambers. They both managed to stay in the final hollow until the klaxon which meant they won all 11 stars for camp.
Having emerged from the Trial victorious, both Jamie and Becky were elated. 'I feel ecstatic' said Becky. 'Yeah it was hard work' said Jamie. 'It was tough. It was mind over matter' added Becky.
'I definitely faced my fear there cos rats... I can't ever think of them. They're up my pants, up my bum. I just don't like them.' 'They're just like large hamsters' said Becky.
Jamie said 'We're mega aren't we partner?'
Becky added 'Yes so happy that we've done it and more importantly I can't wait to get back to tell camp.'

The two campmates returned to camp and said they'd only got three stars before excitedly revealing they had won all 11.
'They've only gone and done it. I can't believe it. Finally it's over. We're going to eat tonight' said an excited Toff.
'Becky's like Bear Grylls' said Shappi. She looks like 1980s Cindy Crawford but she's Bear Grylls.'
Iain said 'It was fantastic that they came back from the Trial with all 11 stars after the disaster of yesterday and everyone's over the moon that they're going to eat today so it was great news. They did a brilliant brilliant job. They held their nerve and they did it as I suspected they might. They're a tough pair those two.'
Elsewhere in the show, Kez read a Jungle laminate out to camp that explained the public had been voting for a new Prime Minister and Deputy (Iain was overjoyed).
Kez revealed Stanley was the new Prime Minister. 'You've been trying so hard as a family and you've done it' said Kez.

A humbled Stanley said 'Thank you very much public.' 'Stanley as PM, he was born for the role' said Becky.
'My administration will probably be very short, very feeble but we'll do our best' said Stanley.
Stanley and Toff both chatted in the Bush Telegraph, 'Obviously as PM, I'm for all the creek, not just the few' said Stanley.
Later Stanley and Toff read a No 10 Downing Creek print out that said they needed to allocate the camp chores amongst everyone.

They decided to allocate Jennie and Becky as camp cooks, Vanessa and Jamie to washing up, Dennis, Kez and Amir as camp maintenance and Iain and Shappi as the camp cleaners.
Talking in the Bush Telegraph about Stanley and Toff, Shappi jokingly said 'They seemed so nice, so cuddly but they immediately pointed the outgoing leaders the dunny cleaning.'
'I think you'll make a great PM Stanley' said Jamie to Stanley. 'Don't take any s*** Stanley, no s*** Stanley' laughed Dennis.
'Well, that goes in the dunny and it gets emptied' said Stanley. The campmates all laughed.
